Wednesday

Today is wednesday, November 1 2007. Bangalore or rather karnataka is celebrating their state day. While in Manipur, the hill people (to whom I belong) are celebrating a harvest festival called KUT. It is supposed to be a fun festival. However with the various militant groups showing their prowess, it does not really look like its going to be a festival. Some organisations have banned it, some have endorsed it, others have asked people to participate completely. The location of the festivities itself is within the police complex and is a direct deterrent to the full and festive participation of the people in huge numbers. There is usually a Miss Kut competition, songs, dances etc. Lets see what this time will bring forth.

Now to the more important topic. I have often heard married people saying how nice it is to be married and that marriage is a blessing. Well, they are wrong!! Marriage is a wonderful feeling, a blissful state of mind and a situation worthy of celestial celebration. Attached today is a picture of our wedding. More later people
